The “Doing Business in China and Hong Kong FILMART” program will consist of industry experts and government officials who will provide advice on selecting a partner, securing payments, protecting intellectual property rights and marketing contentin connection with business transactions in China. They will also discuss the upcoming Hong Kong FILMART in March, including available resources to connect you with foreign buyers at the event.

This webinar is offered by the U.S. Commerce Department and Independent Film & Television Alliance (IFTA) in conjunction with the Market Development Cooperator Program Award received by IFTA in 2010.

Speakers include: Julia Charlton, Principal Partner at Charltons Law, Hong Kong, with experience in film agreements relating to Hong Kong and China; He Jing, ZY Partners, Beijing, and Esther Wai-Ling Ho, Partner, Wilkinson & Grist, Hong Kong; experts on intellectual property in China and Hong Kong, as well as Eric Crowley and Fanny Chau, of the International Trade Administration (ITA)/Commercial Service Hong Kong, Maura Kawai, U.S. Export Assistance Center ITA in Los Angeles, Andrea DaSilva, ITA in Washington, DC; as well as IFTA leadership. The webinar will conclude with a Q&A session, moderated by Janice Wingo, Senior Counsel and China expert in ITA, Washington, DC.
