In order to provide more information regarding IFTA Arbitration, summaries of Final Awards issued on or after January 1, 2007 are posted below.

Below are summaries of the Final Awards issued since 2007. The names of the principals of the parties are only listed when at least one name has been disclosed to IFTA for each and every party. Such names are determined solely from the IFTA Arbitration file (therefore, not all principals may be listed). No information is provided with regard to arbitrations that were initiated but did not proceed to a Final Award.

The summaries are solely intended to provide general information about IFTA Arbitration Awards and are not intended for any other purpose, including but not limited to, precedential value or any reference as legal authority. (The summaries do not include any award for attorney’s fees, arbitrator’s fees and/or costs.) IFTA does not assume any responsibility of the fairness, accuracy or completeness of the underlying data or of these summaries. All other information regarding specific arbitrations is considered to be confidential as among the parties, pursuant to the IFTA Rules.

The summaries are published pursuant to Rule 16.6 of the IFTA Rules for International Arbitration.
