Where is the AFM held?
Santa Monica, California: Loews Santa Monica Beach Hotel and surrounding theaters.
Is the AFM a film festival?
The AFM is a marketplace where producers and sales companies license films to distributors. The AFM is not a festival, and there are no competitions or prizes. The AFM does not take film submissions.
Who can exhibit?
Any production or distribution company may exhibit at the AFM. To exhibit with an office, costs begin at less than $7,500. See How to Exhibit under Exhibition Resources for more information. In addition to production and distribution companies, exhibition space and sponsorship opportunities are available for companies that provide services or products to the entertainment industry. Can anyone attend the AFM?
Yes. See "How to Attend" under Attendee & Buyer Resources for more information.
When can I register?
Attendees may register in advance or on-site. It is suggested that you pre-register for convenience.
What about hotel accommodations?
The AFM offers discounted rates at official AFM Hotels for Registered Attendees. Reservations must be made through the AFM. Hotel information is only sent to Registered Attendees.
